Prof. David Uribe is a Colombian professional and author currently working as Regional Data Director at TBWA for the markets of Africa, Middle East and some European markets. He is also the Head of Digital at TBWA\\Hunt\\Lascaris in South Africa. David is the co-founder at smartBeemo.com, one of the largest online education platforms for Spanish speaking audiences today.
He is also a long time professor at the Miami Ad School, the most awarded advertising school in the world. David has a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Advertising, a master’s degree in Digital Business from the University of Barcelona, a certificate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) on Big Data Analytics and a diploma from Harvard Business School in Digital Strategy.
How data is re-shaping the advertising and marketing industries.
Data is not a new thing, actually the allied forces used data to end WWII with Enigma. Since then data has grown to incorporate broad applications in nearly every science and practice in the world. What is relatively new, is the use of data to inform creative ideas, strategies and to analyse consumer behavior. In a time when consumers are only loyal to their own needs data is unlocking new paths to reach them and make them stay. This talk will explore these paths in more detail.
